Freedom Path is a Compass Home zone that answers one forward-looking question for the focus you have selected: when tracked debt is projected to end, or how much of monthly expenses recorded income already covers. It does not combine the two into a single score.
Debt payoff focus: your debt-free date
The debt-free date comes from your saved Sequencer plan in Debt Payoff Path — the order you selected (highest rate first, lowest balance first, free a payment first, the whole life banking path, or your own order), replayed against your current tracked balances. Policy Stack never selects or invents a payoff order on your behalf; if no plan is saved yet, Freedom Path prompts you to build one instead of guessing.
The debt-free date is labeled Modeled. It is a projection built from your saved plan and current balances, not a recorded or guaranteed outcome. Interest avoided compares your saved sequence against paying only minimums on the same debts.
Wealth focus: expense coverage
The coverage percentage compares two figures that are not modeled:
- Passive income — recorded cash flow from your deployments and promissory notes, the same figures used elsewhere in Capital and Performance
- Monthly expenses — a number you enter directly and can change at any time
Because both sides are either recorded or user-entered, Freedom Path does not label this comparison Modeled or Projected the way the debt-free date is.
