Many whole life banking practitioners operate a household banking system — multiple policies on different family members, all working together as a single capital system. Policy Stack is designed to track this naturally.
How Household Banking Works
A household banking system typically includes:
- Policies on one or both spouses
- Policies on children (often structured as smaller policies funded with PUAs)
- All policies contributing to a shared pool of available cash value
- Loans and deployments drawing from any policy in the household
The household banking view gives you a single picture of total cash value across all policies, total loan balances, net system position, and deployment activity — regardless of which policy a specific loan originates from.
In Policy Stack, all policies under one account belong to the same household. There is no separate "household account" setup needed. Add each policy as an individual record, and the dashboard aggregates them automatically.
